my very first blog post

well, i created this blog about two months ago, if not more, and i am just now posting my first entry. and really, i don't have anything that exciting, funny, or interesting to say, but i just figured i should post something and get it over with- then the good ideas will really start flowing! but, even though i haven't posted anything for nearly two months, i have been doing some prep work and that should count for something. here is some of the prep work i have been doing...

• meeting with dave and jennie orr to discuss hilarious blog ideas (i am not going to disclose them at this time, but know that you have something to look forward to)
• meeting with jennie to have her help me set up my blog, choose a layout, and color theme (i hope you enjoy what i have chosen)
• setting up my google reader and doing some blog research
• trying to work out a deal with david orr where he will design a fancy blog header for me and i don't have to do anything for it (this deal is still in the works)

so, as you can see, even though i have not been posting things, i have been laying the ground work for this blog. anyway, i am really excited to have this blog all set-up now and i hope that i can keep up with it. if there is one thing i have learned from all of my blog research, it is this- it is much more exciting for your blog followers if you post things regularly. and it's only a matter of time before i have tons of followers and i wouldn't want to disappoint them!
